I have attempted to start blogs before and I've gone through dozens of names. This time though, it's different. A quick History:
I like to think I'm not too much of an attention hog. However, being a dancer, over the years I learned to love the spotlight. It's not something I developed, it's a part of my personality that was brought to the surface. Many times, my actions or lack of action was due to how I thought it would look to other people. Everything I did was to make people like me. I didn't tell jokes to make people laugh, I did it to make people think I was funny. I'm ashamed of it, but often when I talked about Christ is was so people would think I was a good Christian. In all reality, I was drowning every day in doubt and fear.
Recently, I have realized how wrong this attitude is. My life should be focused on my relationship with Christ and what He thinks of me alone.
Don't get me wrong, I still love my time in the spotlight. But I don't need it.
Those who Shine from within, don't need a spotlight. And when all the glitter fades, there will still be stardust in her veins.I also love quotes. This is one of my favorites and the inspiration for my blog name. Because, this time, I'm not writing to become internet famous or anything, I just need a place to get my thoughts and feelings out. If I don't, I just might go crazy.
